Stromness Writing Group

We are an informal, friendly group of writers who meet fortnightly to share writing exercises and feedback. We pay £2 per session (first one free) which goes towards workshops with visiting authors and teas/coffees, etc.

The George Mackay Brown Fellowship

The GMB Fellowship was formed in 2006 to promote new creative writing in the islands and to celebrate Orkney writers, past and present. Its main activity is to run a writing Fellowship.
